on the wall.
Small 12 × 16 in and Classic 18 × 24 in, drawn at true scale beside a person, a door, a console table and everyday objects. Every work is presented in the Signature Black Frame.
Hold it against the room.
Every object is drawn at its true size on the same scale as the work. Sizes are print sizes; the frame adds a border around them.
Beside a person and a door: a 5 ft 6 in figure next to a standard 80 in door, with the work hung with its centre 57 in from the floor, the usual gallery height.
Above a sofa: an 84 in sofa with the work centred 8 in above its back, the way most people hang art over furniture.
Both scales beside everyday things: a dining chair, a wine bottle, a record sleeve and a cushion.
Two scales
Small, 12 × 16 in
For smaller walls, bedside moments, shelves, narrow passages, and spaces where the work should feel intimate rather than dominant.
Classic, 18 × 24 in
The natural starting point for the work: enough presence to hold a wall while leaving space around it.
Classic is 1.5 times the width of Small. Area grows faster than width: Classic has 2.25 times the area of Small.
How to choose
Start with the wall, not the frame. Leave breathing room around the work. Above furniture, the artwork should feel related to the furniture rather than floating far above it. Every work is presented in the Signature Black Frame.
